Tryon 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games : Highlights

Endurance : FEI cancels the endurance due to a combination of heat, humidity and conditions of the trails.

Reining : USA take Gold in front of Belgium and Germany. Bernard Fonck secures first individual Reining Gold medal in front of USA’s team gold medalists, Daniel L. Huss taking the Silver medal and Cade McCutcheon taking Bronze.

Dressage : Germany rise up on top of the Team podium, followed by USA and Great Britain. Isabell Werth (GER) & Bella Rose takes Gold in the Grand Prix Special while Laura Graves & Verdades bring home the silver medal and Charlotte Dujardin (GBR) & Mount St John Freestyle take Bronze. Dressage Freestyle competition are cancelled due to extreme rainfall.

Eventing : Full domination of Great Britain taking team Gold in front of Ireland and France and shining in individual thanks to Rosalind Canter and Allstar B. Silver goes to Padraig McCarthy & Mr. Chunky and Ingrid Klimke & SAP Hale Bob OLD take the Bronze medal.

Vaulting : Another Gold medal for Germany as team Norka triumph in the squad final. Lambert Leclezio took Gold for France in the Individual Male Freestyle Final and Germany’s Kristina Boe won Gold in the Individual Female Final. It's an Italian Victory in Vaulting Pair’s Competition thanks to the performance of Lorenzo Lupacchini and Silvia Stopazzini.

Para Dressage : Netherlands bring home 3 Gold Medals thanks to Sanne Voets (grade IV), Rixt van der Horst (grade III) and the final team championships. Sara Morganti (ITA - grade I), Stinna Tange Kaastrup (DEN - grade II) and Sophie Wells (GBR - grade V) take respectively Gold in the individual freestyle finals.

Driving : Boyd Excell (AUS) top the Gold medal, leaving silver to Chester Weber (USA) & bronze to Edouard Simonet (BEL). Team Gold is USA in front of Netherlands and Belgium.

Jumping : USA take a home win thanks to the fantastic performances of McLain Ward, Laura Kraut, Adrienne Sternlicht & Devin Ryan. Germany's young superstar, Simone Blum, rides her fantastic DSP Alice to a so deserved Gold Medal in front of 2 amazing Swiss pilots, Martin Fuchs on Clooney and Steve Guerdat on Bianca.
