Ben Maher (GBR) & Explosion W, literally triumph in Madrid Longines Global Champions Tour, taking victory individually and as a team in the GCL Class with London Knights and giving a lesson to everyone in the CSI5* Grand Prix as he was the only one to take off 1 stride in the last line of the jump-off. A special podium for this Grand Prix as Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) on H&M Harley vd Bisschop and Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) on Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot sign the exact same time and share the 2nd place.
McLain Ward reigns on New York
McLain Ward (USA) & Clinta dominate the Longines CSI5* Grand Prix at the Longines Masters of New York. Peder Fredricson (SWE) & Hansson WL sign the 2nd best time of a 14 riders jump-off and Erynn Ballard (CAN) concludes a fantastic weekend by completing the podium on Fantast. Erynn was victorious 2 days before in the "crazy fast" Longines Speed Challenge. A 100% women top 3 as Brianne Goutal-Marteau & Kristen Vanderveen finish 2nd & 3rd. Catherine Wachtell (USA) & Indy van de Roten top the Under 25 Grand Prix and Madison Goetzmann continues her great season on Prestigious, winning the CSI2* Grand Prix.
Beezie Madden, Queen of Paris
Beezie Madden (USA) & Breitling LS win the 2018 Longines FEI World Cup Final in Paris. Devin Ryan (USA) & Eddie Blue sign an amazing performance to claim 2nd place of the final and Henrik Von Eckermann (SWE) & Toveks Mary Lou jump a fantastic championship to finish 3rd on the overall ranking. Isabell Werth (GER) stays unbeatable on Weihegold OLD and win the FEI World Cup Final of Dressage in front of Laura Graves (USA) & Verdades who signed an amazing weekend. 3rd place goes to Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (GER) on Unee BB.
Edwina wins again in the LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach
Already winner in 2016, Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) rides California to victory in the 2018 LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach. Bassem Hassan Mohammed (QAT) & Gunder sign the only other double clear round to take 2nd place and Darragh Kenny (IRL) complete the podium on Cassini Z. The Global Champions League goes to Prague Lions thanks to Gerco Schröder on Glock's London & Anna Kellnerova on Classic.
Margie Engle & Royce triumph to conclude the 2018 Winter Equestrian Festival
Margie Engle (USA) & Royce shine in the biggest grand prix of the season taking victory in the $500,000 CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix. With the 2nd and only other double clear round of the class, Luiz Francisco de Azevedo (BRA) signs a beautiful performance on Comic while Conor Swail (IRL) complete the podium on Rubens LS La Silla.

The 1st leg of the Global Champions League goes to Miami Celtics with Denis Lynch (IRL) & the powerful RMF Cadeau de Muze who jumped 2 fantastic rounds (only 1 time fault) & Michael Duffy (IRL) on Efs Top Contender. Wilhelm Genn (GER) & Bugatti dominate the CSI2* Grand Prix to conclude a fantastic weekend.

Beezie Madden (USA) & Breitling LS dominate the $205,000 CaptiveOne CSI4* Grand Prix on the fabulous Derby Field. 2nd place goes to Daniel Coyle (IRL) & Cita while another Irish pilot, Richie Moloney complete the podium on Freestyle de Muze. The $132,000 Hollow Creek 1m50 Classic Final goes to young talent Lucas Porter (USA) on Diamonte Darco while Ransome Rombauer & Emorkus RE win the $50,000 Hermes Under 25 Final Grand Prix.

Daniel Coyle (IRL) & Cita braved Saturday’s tough conditions to win the $384,000 CSI5* Grand Prix with the only double clear round of the night. Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) & Chaganus jumped to 2nd place and Rodrigo Lambre Finished 3rd on Coleman.
