New Year, first big Winner!

The Winter Equestrian Festival started with the Premiere week but the big sport really started on WEF 1. First FEI week of the year and first winner of a CSI3* Grand Prix : Beezie Madden (USA) & Breitling LS jump to victory in front of 2 other ladies, Adrienne Sternlicht (USA) on Bennys Lagacy & Sydney Shulman (ISR) on J-Boston S.E.

The Coronavirus forces the Winter Equestrian Festival to cut the circuit short. After the announce of the USEF, WEF decides to end the circuit on the last day of week 10, cutting the last 2 week off of the 2020 season. WEF concluded with the victory of Darragh Kenny (IRL) & Scarlett Du Sart Z in the $137,000 Horseware Ireland CSI3* Grand Prix.
Daniel Deusser triumph in Doha LGCT!

3 days, 3 wins and what a way to finish the weekend for Daniel Deusser! The german pilot rides Killer Queen VDM to victory in the first LGCT Grand Prix of the 2020 season in Doha. 2nd place goes to Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) & Katanga v.h Dingeshof while Jerome Guery (BEL) complete the podium on Quel Homme de Hus. London Knights start the year like they finished the 2019 season, with a first place in the Global Champions League.

Young talents ride to victory for USA in the $150,000 CSIO4* Nations Cup thanks to the amazing performances of Andy Kocher aboard Squirt Gun, Brian Moggre on MTM Vivre le Reve, Lucas Porter with C Hunter and Adrienne Sternlicht riding Just A Gamble. Ireland take 2nd place thanks to David Blake, Darragh Kenny, Paul O’Shea and Billy Twomey while Amy Graham, Scott Keach, Hilary Scott and Rowan Willis complete the podium for Australia. Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) topped the $214,000 CSIO4* Grand Prix riding Catover and Sydney Shulman (ISR) & Azilis du Mesnil captured the Under 25 Semi-Final Hermes Grand Prix.

WEF's first CSI5* Grand Prix goes to McLain Ward (USA) & Noche de Ronda. McLain speeds to victory in front of 2 other stars of the circuit, Kent Farrington (USA) on Gazelle and Eric Lamaze (CAN) on Chacco Kid.

Another successful edition of the CHI of Geneva with great moments of sport throughout the weekend. Kent Farrington (USA) triumph for the second time in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final, riding this time, Austria 2. Darragh Kenny (IRL) rides Romeo 88 to the 2nd place while Christian Ahlmann complete the podium on Clintrexo Z. Over an incredible jump-off, Martin Fuchs (SUI) & Clooney 51 are best in the Rolex Grand Prix, in front of Scott Brash (GBR) & Hello Senator and Jerome Guéry (BEL) & Quel Homme de Hus. Coco Fath (USA) & Exotik Sitte dominate the Under 25 Grand Prix.

Simon Delestre (FRA) & his loyal partner, Hermes Ryan speed to victory in the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix of the Longines Masters of Paris. An amazing finish for the French crowd as Kevin Staut on For Joy van't Zorgvliet HDC & Roger-Yves Bost on Sangria du Coty take 2nd & 3rd place! Full domination for the french riders as Thierry Rozier triumph in the CSI2* Grand Prix on Star. Europe top the Riders Masters Cup thanks to Darragh Kenny, Martin Fuchs, Kevin Staut, Jos Verlooy & Henrik von Eckermann and Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) rides Carlotta 232 to victory in the wild Longines Speed Challenge.

Ben Maher (GBR) & Explosion W finish the season in a blaze of glory, taking victory in the LGCT Super Grand Prix of Prague playoffs! Darragh Kenny (IRL) & Balou du Reventon take 2nd place and Martin Fuchs (SWI) & Clooney 51 complete the podium. The Shanghai Swans triumph in the GCL Super Cup thanks to the whole team but especially thanks to Daniel Deusser, Pius Schwizer & Peder Fredricson performances in the final.
